The Camps of Onaman Lake are situated at Picnic Island in the central portion of the Lake. Onaman is approximately 17 km long and at its widest point 7 km wide. The Lake is studded with a multitude of islands and bays, which makes fishing for Walleye, Pike and Whitefish comfortable in any weather condition.

The predominant species of fish in the body of water is Walleye and Pike. There is a notable Whitefish and Perch population as well. Trophy-size Walleye and Pike are caught each year and we stress a catch and release with trophy sized fish. The fishing is still great in the Lake and we would like to keep it that way for future generations.

The Camps on Picnic Island have running water and a central shower and washroom facility. There is generated hydro for refrigeration and lighting. The Water filtration system at Picnic Island is "state of the art" and causes beer drinkers to have the occasional glass of cool water, because of it’s great taste. The water from the Lake is also consumable.

The Cabins on Picnic Island will accommodate 4 to 10 people. We also have a cabin at the north end of the Lake (Outpost Camp) that has running water, solar lighting, outdoor facilities, refrigeration and cooking by propane.

The KAG, as it is commonly referred to, has 5 Cabins. We have generated hydro, inside flush toilets and hot and cold running water with showers at each camp. The Lake is approximately 26 km long and its widest point is 8 km wide.

There are several Long Bays (Humble Bay and VanPoele) that have outpost camps that area available to us. The Lake has numerous islands and bays that will keep you fishing in the worst weather. The main camp is located at the north end of the Lake, at the mouth of the World famous Opichuan River, every Trout Fisherman’s dream destination.

The camps at the Kag will accommodate from 6 to 10 persons in comfort. The outpost camps at VanPoele and Humble Bay will accommodate from 6 to 12 persons. VanPoele has solar power for your water supply into the camp an indoor shower and outdoor facility. The two camps at Humble Bay have the same equipment.
